The 2026 edition of WHEA World Strongman/woman Champinships will be held in the town of Paradise in Canada 26th-27th, September.

The competition will be held in inside sports venue with qualifications on Saturday and finals on Sunday. The events will be published soon.

Tthe athletes competing must be under WHEA license / anti-doping agreement in minimum of 3 months prior the competition.

National qualifiers in Canada, GB and Finland. Athletes from other countries may apply a spot from info(@)worldheavyeventsassociation.com. Maximum of 3 spots per class is granded per country.

The classes in the competition are:

Women: -65kg, -75kg, 75kg+, Masters 40+ -75kg and over 75kg, Masters 50+ -75kg and over 75kg. Juniors 18-20yrs.

Men: -85kg, -100kg, 100kg+, Masters 40+ -100kg and over 100kg, Masters 50+ -100kg and over 100kg, Juniors 18-20yrs.

Paradise is a town on the Avalon Peninsula in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.  The nearest international airport is St. John´s (YTT) with approx 20km distance to the city.
